“闖關卡”來了

2026年我們準備了14個有趣的項目，闖關者可選擇至少9項活動參加，每完成一項可獲得蓋印認證，闖關結束後，參加者可持加蓋9個印章的”闖關卡”，向服務處兌換紀念品一份。請在入口處「資訊服務台」領取中華文化體驗活動”闖關卡”！

To encourage students to participate in Chinese cultural activities thereby improving their understanding of Mandarin and their ability to use it in life. During 2026 NZ Taiwan Day, there is a “Culture Experience Trip” where you can pick up a Challenge Card from the information desk to go around the different experiences and activities and earn a stamp for participation. On receiving at least 9 stamps, can exchange the card for a souvenir.

Harmony in Bloom: The Beauty of Hanzi Floral Art Exhibition

花之和──漢字之美華道展

As part of this year’s Explore Taiwan theme, Harmony in Bloom brings together the timeless elegance of Oriental floral art and the enduring wisdom of Confucian harmony. Flowers are not merely natural beauty — they embody values that guide human life.

Using locally sourced New Zealand foliage and botanicals, the exhibition reimagines Taiwan’s iconic landscapes and cultural scenery through ikebana. From classical compositions to contemporary interpretations, each arrangement bridges place and memory — connecting the beauty of Taiwan’s landscapes with the natural spirit of Aotearoa.

In every line, space and blossom, harmony unfolds. Through flowers, we explore Taiwan — its landscapes, its culture, and the quiet beauty of home.

在「Explore Taiwan」的主題下，本年度華道展以「花之和」為名，融合東方花道藝術與儒家所傳承的和諧智慧。花，不只是自然之美，更是價值與精神的象徵。
展覽運用紐西蘭在地可取得的草木素材，連結台灣著名景觀與人文意象。透過經典與當代並陳的插花風格，呈現台灣風景之美，也映照旅居海外對家鄉的思念與記憶。
花之所至，和氣生焉。

Art Exhibition: Play & Art - Between Life and Colour Art Exhibition

畫展：遊藝——生活與色彩之美

Play & Art is not a display of technique, but a state of being. It is the gentle movement between daily life and artistic expression — a way of wandering through time, memory and awareness with openness and ease.

This joint exhibition brings together Taiwanese artists residing in New Zealand. Through the perspective of wanderers, they revisit memories of their island homeland, transforming fragments of everyday life, emotional currents and cultural traces into colour and form on canvas. Rather than pursuing a single style, the works embrace diversity in medium and expression, creating an open dialogue between art and life.

Here, colour is more than a visual element — it carries mood and warmth. Creation is more than a method — it is a way of inhabiting the world. We warmly invite you to slow down and experience the beauty of Play & Art — where life meets colour.

「遊藝」不是技巧的展示，而是一種生活的狀態。它是一種在日常與創作之間自由穿梭的心境，是帶著覺察與從容，在時間與記憶之中漫遊。

本次聯合畫展以「遊藝」為主題，集結旅居紐西蘭的台灣創作者。藝術家們以漫遊者的視角，回望島嶼的記憶，將生活的片段、情感的流動與文化的印記，轉化為畫布上的色彩與線條。作品不追求單一風格，而是在多元媒材與表現方式之中，展現生活與藝術之間的自由對話。

在這裡，色彩不只是視覺元素，更是一種情緒與溫度；創作不只是表現形式，更是一種存在的姿態。邀請您放慢腳步，在生活與色彩之間，感受「遊藝」的美。

Let’s come and experience the treasure of Taiwanese culture – hand puppet, which was once a traditional art form but now has been innovatively developed onto the big screen! At the 2026 NZ Taiwan Day event, we invite the Taiwanese Women’s Association of New Zealand to bring us the wonderful hand puppet shows of “Justice Bao and the Trial of the Stone” and “The Adventures of Sun Wukong and Zhu Bajie”. Hand puppet show is an ancient theatrical form that uses hand puppets to tell stories and has deep roots in religious beliefs and traditional culture. Now, you have the opportunity to experience this fascinating performance art in person! We welcome you to come and watch the show on site, and together appreciate the beauty of Taiwanese culture.

讓我們一起來體驗過去為傳統藝術、如今創新發展登上大螢幕，台灣文化的瑰寶── 布袋戲！在2024紐西蘭臺灣日活動中，我們邀請來自紐西蘭臺灣婦女會，為大家帶來精彩的「包公審石頭」及「孫悟空及豬八戒歷險記」布袋戲表演。布袋戲是一種古老的戲劇形式，透過操作木偶來演繹故事，具有深厚的宗教信仰和傳統文化背景。現在，您有機會親身體驗這個精彩的表演藝術！不僅可以欣賞精彩的表演，還可以親自參與體驗布袋戲的魅力。歡迎您來現場觀看表演，一同感受臺灣文化之美。

Diabolo 扯鈴

Hello everyone! Have you ever heard of the traditional sport of Diabolo? The students and teachers of the Feng-Xing Digital Learning Center will bring a Diabolo performance and interactive experience to the 2026 New Zealand Taiwan Day. You’ll get to witness firsthand the magic of this traditional folk sport! Diabolo has been a traditional toy in Chinese culture for hundreds of years and can improve your body coordination and balance, while also fostering empathy and teamwork. It not only has sports and cultural value, but has also become an international performing art. Professional instructors will be on-site to guide and provide equipment for the activity. Don’t hesitate to invite your family and friends to experience this traditional sport at the Taiwan Day event!

Weaving Dreams of the Ancestral Land: Puyuma Flower Wreath Workshop

織夢原鄉─卑南花環手作

In Puyuma culture, flower wreaths are far more than ornaments — they symbolise honour, blessings and deep respect. Traditionally placed upon elders, returning warriors or distinguished guests, they represent the highest expression of esteem and love.

This hands-on workshop invites you to weave your own Puyuma flower wreath under guided instruction, experiencing the beauty and spirit of Taiwan’s Indigenous traditions. When you place the wreath upon your head, it becomes more than a creation — it is a moment of connection with Taiwan’s ancestral heritage.

Join us in weaving honour, wearing the rainbow, and taking home a meaningful mark of culture.

花環，在卑南族文化中，不僅是裝飾，更象徵尊榮、祝福與敬意。為長者加冕、為勇士歸來祝賀、為貴賓致上最高的禮遇，花環承載著深厚的文化情感。

本次工作坊邀請您親手編織屬於自己的卑南花環，在專業指導下體驗傳統編織技藝，感受原鄉文化的溫度與精神。當花環戴上的那一刻，不只是完成一件作品，更是與台灣原住民族文化連結的美好時刻。
