Greetings to all! Ever heard of “Woodball”? The 2025 Taipei & New Taipei World Masters Games is bringing an exclusive Woodball experience to Taiwan Day in New Zealand in 2024. This event will feature interactive game stations to immerse you in this Taiwanese-origin sport! Invented by Mr. Weng Ming-hui in 1990, Woodball epitomizes the inclusive “Sport for All” ethos while championing eco-friendliness. The International Woodball Federation encourages everyone, irrespective of age or gender, to partake in the joy of woodball. Woodball isn’t just Taiwan’s pride; it’s also a highlight of the 2025 Games, which showcases 35 sports. Participants can sign up individually and select up to 7 events across 3 sports categories without schedule conflicts, blending personal challenges with collaborative fun.
